About the 8 week course
Combining Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), ground in consciousness and transpersonal psychology (spirituality), the eight week course gives you an understanding of how your mind works.
Once you understand how a thought creates an emotion, you realise that how you see life is dependant on your thoughts. This right-mindfulness based health intervention program empowers you to take control of your thoughts through awareness and the ability to step out of the thought.
This has significant benefits to mental and emotional health, such as depression, anxiety, stress, grief and anger, as well, as helping you to discover meaning and purpose of your existence.
The course combines psychological growth and spiritual balance, through you experiencing your mind, rather than knowledge gained from someone else. Support and guidance is provided to match your individual journey on where you are in life.

Further details on the 8-week course
Most of us, by not being aware of what the mind is, operate in an autopilot mode in our life.
Through Right-Mindfulness you become aware of the present moment unfolding, by paying attention to what is happening right now. When you are not aware, that’s when you feel isolated because you are caught up in the story of your thoughts. Life is lived in a mechanical way with little control over your pyschological and emotional state. Living life like this, creates a language of how you speak to yourself, and this then has an impact on creating illnesses such as heart problems, diabetes or depression.
Try thinking of three things that irritate you everyday (in that day) for the next five days and see what impact that has on your wellbeing. Similarly, what if you were to think of three things you are grateful for every day (in that day) for five days. What impact would that have you your wellbeing?
The course is delivered over eight sessions in a small group where Khoj (inner questioning) is explored in a highly participatroy way.
- 8 weekly two hour sessions
- Guided instruction in right-mindfulness meditation practices
